08.14.2012 Dinner @ Ju's
So...I actually cooked today. One of the rare days for sure, but figured that I need to start cooking again. Since my budget was quite low, I did some searching in the freezer and found organic sirloin patties and some frozen stew veggies. Very simple meal. I pan grilled the patties (using minimum seasoning since its organic and doesn't need lots to make it taste great) and instead of stewing I pan roasted about a cup of the stew veggies with some olive oil, garlic cloves, and Sriracha (my sauce of choice always).
The full meal:

Pretty yummy. Bare minimum went into seasoning these and I like them medium.

Perfect consistency (cooked for only about 10 mins max) and the seasoning was spot on
08.13.2012 Mina's Bday Dinner @ Benihana
Celebrated Mina's 29th with super yummy food. Mina introduced me to Benihana when we were in San Fran for Yaoi Con 2010 and I've been hooked ever since. Super glad she picked there for Bday 2012. Grilled meats and veggies are definitely the way to go. The service at this Benihana is amazing and I love the staff. Everything is grilled and all their produce are fresh and you can taste it. The cooking entertainment is also fun no matter how many times I see it. Its also quite fun to meet new people. Our tablemates this time were also celebrating birthdays and were very personable. Good times. I officially love Hibachi.
