Movie Day

Local theaters are the best things ever invented. Trying to forget for a day that am utterly po, decided to leave the house (I had already deactivated Hermit Mode so wasn't violating). Problem, of course, is that I had to be budget savvy during the process. That's where the awesomeness of local theaters comes in. And in this case a theater named Kent.

Kent has 3 screens and shows usually 3-4 movies for a two-three week span. After checking Fandango, my movie choices were done: Inglorious Bastards and The Final Destination. Normally I don't go to the movies much anymore. But Kent's $5 Wednesday movie deal is too sweet to pass up. That's more than half of a ticket.

So I did my 15-20 min walk to Kent and watched my movies. Am I pleased? Quite. Thank goodness for local stuff. Total movie tix spending? $10 on my tickets and $10 on guest tickets. That's how awesome Kent is :D

'Allo

As my first post, I guess I have to set the tone for this blog. Hi, I'm Judi. I'm a poor twenty-something living in NYC. I'll be posting randomly about myself and life but most likely also about things to do in the city on a limited budget.
